hiiiiii :)

My name is Shelly, nice to meet ya. I'm 35 years old and currently live in Brooklyn, NY- though I was born and raised in the Twin Cities in Minnesota. I work as a Cheesemonger right now, which is something I have about 8 years of experience in already and as far as jobs go is pretty cool. I am an artist and writer and try to create as much as I can but have unfortunately been dealing with horrible burnout. I was also a stand-up comedian from 2014 until the pandemic hit (with a brief return in 2021 when people were still doing outdoor shows and wearing masks) I now consider myself on indefinite hiatus due mainly to the fact that I am also covid concious, and putting people's lives at risk to tell them jokes does not morally fly with me. I still hope to return to performing someday, but community care is more important to me now.
